Jean-Philippe Carrier is the recipient of several awards for excellence in structural design, and is distinguished by his involvement in the steel and wood industry.

With several years of experience as a structural design engineer in the commercial, industrial and institutional buildings sectors, he has built his expertise by participating in various construction projects of all sizes in several regions of Quebec.

A specialist in seismic analysis, he was mandated and recognized by his peers as a trainer in the development of knowledge for the design of a 5- to 6-storey building with a light wood frame. This development was made possible by complying with the specific requirements of the new construction code while respecting the calculation of the lateral load resistance system of this type of structure.

Mr. Carrier is a structural engineer highly regarded by architects. As a result, he was mandated to carry out the structure of the offices of some of them. A winning collaboration that allowed him to realize the architectural vision while effortlessly building what seemed complicated.
